Please read our terms & conditions carefully before placing your order online. By using this website and placing an order you agree to be bound by these terms.

Delivery methods may vary depending on shipping destinations. All items will need to be signed for and will only be delivered Monday to Friday. Shipping charges will vary depending on the shipping method selected at the checkout. A £20.00 charge (which includes insurance) will be required to re-deliver any items in situations where the order was not delivered due to the fault of the customer. These situations are defined as:

1 – The item was not signed for because the customer was not present at the requested delivery address.
2 – The item could not be delivered because the address provided by the customer was incorrect or incomplete.

All bike box hire orders will be shipped at least 48 hours before the desired hire start date, in order for the bike box to arrive in time.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is still added and it is down to the individual to reclaim this back.

Guarantee & Returns

In the unlikely event you feel that you have been delivered a damaged product and/ or wish to return it, please email us at enquiries@bonzabikebox.com.

All our hire bike boxes are checked prior to dispatch for previous wear and any defects.

Charges & Payments

We accept payment by credit or debit card. Payment is taken by secure Cardstream. All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation and authorisation by your card issuer. If the issuer of your card declines payment, you will be notified at the point of purchase. The following points outline possible fines that could be charged to your card. No charge will be made before we contact you (by email) to inform you of our action.

  • Late or Non Return of a Bike Box: If your hire bike box is not in our possession within 2 days of the agreed hire end date we will charge you an additional £40.00 per week until the full retail purchase price of the bike box has been reached. This charge will be taken from the original card provided.
  • Any bike box returned without the returns form will incur a £10.00 administration fee, which will be taken from the original card details provided.
  • Damage or Loss: Although our bike boxes are heavy-duty products and we accept general wear and tear, we ask that customers take due care when travelling & handling the boxes. As the customer you are responsible for the security and safe keeping of the bike box for the duration of the hire period. Any results in damage or loss may incur further costs varying on the product & situation.


Bonza Bike Box does not insure your bike or any other items inside the bike box during a hire period. Please check with your travel insurance provider to ensure your bike and other possessions are adequately covered during your trip. We do not accept any liability of damage caused to your bike or equipment whilst in our bike boxes. (The bike boxes have a max net weight of 32kg)

Cancellations & Refunds

You are entitled to a refund for bike boxes that have been unopened & returned within 14-days of the purchase order. Refunds are not an option for valid warranty claims.

We do not offer refunds on hire bike boxes returned early or unused. Any hire orders cancelled before 7 days of the hire date will receive a full refund. If cancelled within 7 days of the hire we will charge a fee of 10% or £10.00 (the greater of the two). We do not accept any responsibility for circumstances in which the bike box hire is being cancelled. This includes:

  • The bike box has not been used due to an event/trip being cancelled or postponed


We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any third parties.
